Such a dog can keep you on your toes, but with these tips for dog owners you are guaranteed not to get out of breath so quickly:

1. Remove dog hair with rubber gloves

Some dogs have their entire apartment full within a very short time. You can help yourself with rubber gloves so that you do not have to use up one lint roller after the next or have to fetch the vacuum cleaner each time to remove the dog hair. Moisten them a little and rub them over the sofa, clothing and other surfaces covered with dog hair. The hair can then be easily wiped off and disposed of as a compact ball of fur. Alternatively, for larger areas, you can also moisten a rubber wiper for the shower or for window cleaning and use it as a dog hair remover.

2. Old bedding as a cover for the dog bed

Another way to master dog hair is to use old pillow cases, sheets or duvet covers. There you can wrap your dog's or your four-legged friend's favorite pillow or cover the sofa in his favorite place. As soon as the bed linen is fully haired, you can easily remove the cover and put it in the washing machine. With a large number of animal hairs, however, you may have to clean the washing machine's fluff filter more often. If you put the bedding in the dryer afterwards, the dog's hair will be removed even more carefully, and the cover will feel softer afterwards.

3. Herbs in the feed for fresh breath

If your dog has a slightly unpleasant bad breath after eating, you can occasionally mix parsley or some mint with the food. You should only feed parsley during the day, as it can be diuretic. It is also slightly invigorating and may help prevent kidney stones. Pregnant bitches should not be given parsley as a precaution, as they may cause premature labor.

Mint has a rather calming effect and should only be added sparingly and not too often to the feed. It is sometimes very useful if your dog suffers from mild flatulence. However, keep in mind that if you have bad breath, you should definitely consult a veterinarian. If your dog looks seriously ill or has had symptoms for a long time, you should always seek medical help first.

4. This is how your dog brushes its teeth

Does your dog have no desire for dental care at all? Then, as a dog owner, you can try out whether he can’t brush his teeth himself. To do this, put dog toothpaste on your favorite animal's favorite chew toy. If he then processes it with his teeth, they are cleaned at the same time - very practical.
